Exciting Gallery News For 2011

Phillip Thomas shall have his oil, CAROUSEL, included in a museum show.

“About Change — Emerging artists from Latin America & the Caribbean”
Opening 6:30PM, Friday, 1/21/11, at the Art Museum of The Americas, with a
reception at the adjacent “Organization of American States”, Washington, D.C.

The show will be up for three months, until March 10th.
The show will then travel to “The World Bank” and open April 7th, 2011.

Richard J. Demato Gallery Artists, Amy Sherald and Bart Vargas
have been selected as two of twelve artists nominated
for the “New American Paintings Annual Prize”.
The winner of the Grand Prize will be announced 1/31/11!

Devorah Jacoby, an abstract/ figurative painter, has recently joined our
gallery and can now be seen on the gallery website. Before exploring art,
Ms. Jacoby practiced for many years as a licensed psychotherapist.
Her work draws upon this background as a foundation for her art
and will be up and in the gallery before the end of the month!
